About the Role:
We’re seeking a dependable and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. You’ll be responsible for installing and maintaining irrigation systems, including trenching, equipment setup, and troubleshooting. This is a hands-on outdoor role that requires a solid work ethic and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and follow blueprints to install irrigation systems
Install new systems from start to finish
Inspect and prepare equipment for daily work
Travel to job sites
Assess soil and vegetation to determine irrigation needs
Dig trenches and lay pipes and lines
Install pumps, valves, and electrical timers
Test and troubleshoot irrigation systems
Perform routine maintenance and repairs
Complete daily reports and paperwork
Requirements:
Proven experience as an irrigation technician
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Familiarity with electrical timers and irrigation controllers
Basic plumbing knowledge is a plus
Strong communication skills
Able to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in all weather
Must be comfortable working long hours on your feet
