Key Responsibilities
Grind, polish, and finish steel and metal components using hand and power tools, belt grinders, and bench grinders.
Prepare and smooth welded joints and fabricated parts to meet production standards.
Inspect metal parts for burrs, rough edges, or defects and correct them as needed.
Operate tools and equipment including grinders, sanders, cutting tools, and other fabrication machinery.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols and company quality standards.
Assist in general shop duties as needed, including material handling, deburring, and polishing.
Qualifications
Previous experience in metal grinding, steel fabrication, or machining (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Familiarity with grinders, buffers, and finishing equipment.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
