We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sewing Assistant / Production Assistant to support our sewing and assembly operations. This position assists the production team by preparing materials, supporting sewing staff, and packaging finished products.
Responsibilities
Prepare and organize fabrics, webbing, and materials for sewing
Assist sewing operators with assembly, trimming, marking, and labeling
Perform light sewing or finishing work as directed
Inspect products for quality and accuracy
Package and label completed items for shipment
Keep production areas clean, safe, and well-organized
Maintain basic records of materials and supplies used
Support smooth workflow between production, inspection, and shipping
Requirements
Prior experience in textiles, sewing, or light manufacturing preferred but not required
Willingness to learn and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Must be able to use a computer for basic data entry
Bilingual (Spanish) is a major plus
