Looking to have a fun and rewarding job while playing in the sun all day Square Grouper SoFlo is looking for dedicated tour guides, snorkeling is the main activity with serval other tours(food tours, bike tours, walking tours, and any new tours we create) that are operated later in the day.
$500 sign on bonus paid after 4 months, pay ranges from $40-$10 per tour based on performance that is reviews every 2 weeks, tips are a big part of the income for this opportunity. If you are a great tour guide expect $10+ per person per tour, if you are not expect only a few dollars per person per tour.
No experience is necessary as training is payed for by Square Grouper SoFlo. We are looking for charismatic individuals that are reliable.
You can request as much time off as you would like after 6 months of employment.
It’s not a problem if you do not have any experience as we will train you and get you the correct certifications for the job but you must be a good swimmer.
Our tours are educational in nature so if you are a “fun-fact” type person you will do well here. Customer service skills are important. If you have any type of lifeguard, Dive Master, Dive instructor, or General Tourism skills then it’s a plus and often will result in better tips. You Must be able to work holidays(the tourist don’t stop coming because its a holiday) as we operate 365 days a year. Weather can cause tours to be canceled last minute. Open schedules are preferred, but we will work with your schedule as much as we can.
This is not a job for those that can’t show up on time, not reliable, poor communicators, mean or rough around the edges people, fragile, or rude individuals.
This is a job for someone that wants to grow with the company, charismatic, friendly, good communicators.
