Position Overview: Bluewater is seeking a Equipment Operator (utilities/ground preparation) who will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy equipment and machinery to support underground utility installation, grading, trenching, and site preparation activities. This role ensures that utility projects (water, sewer, storm drainage, gas, or electrical) are completed according to specifications, safety regulations, and project schedules.
Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, loaders, and trenchers to install and maintain underground utilities.
Excavate, backfill, and compact soil to proper grades and specifications.
Among other duties
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience operating equipment in utility or site construction, knowledge of underground utility installation, trench safety, and grading practices.
