Legal Assistant / Paralegal
Job Description:
Legal Assistant/Paralegal wanted for two roles with skills and experience in civil litigation matters. Our Law Firm is a boutique Civil Litigation law firm with attorneys that practice in multiple practice areas related to civil cases that provides professional diligent legal services to clients that include businesses and individuals. Starting salary depending on qualifications is $58,000 to $70,000 per year plus Benefits, PTO and opportunity to continue enhancing knowledge and skills.
Work closely with the attorneys to help progress cases. We have a team environment where the paralegals and legal assistants work closely with the attorneys to help provide the best legal representation we can.

The Position's Duties and Responsibilities May Include:
- Daily interaction with clients, opposing counsel and the court staff
- Preparing court orders and non-complex motions
- Managing clients and their cases under attorney direction
- Deposition scheduling and preparation to assist the attorneys
- Mediation scheduling and preparation
- Coordinating and scheduling hearings and preparation of the files for court
- Maintaining litigation filings, notices, pleadings, etc.
- Coordinating and maintaining a calendar for the attorneys
- Filing and uploading documents for the Court and clerk through the portals
Candidate Qualifications Include:
- Litigation experience with the required position duties
- Strong ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Excellent organization skills
