Immigration law firm dedicated to providing top-notch legal services is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Immigration Paralegal to join our team on a part-time basis.
Job Description:
We are looking for a part-time Immigration Paralegal who will be responsible for answering calls, conducting client interviews/initial consultations, handling intake processes, and preparing immigration applications. This position is predominantly remote, requiring only one day a week in our office in Miami Lakes, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough client interviews to gather necessary information for immigration applications.
Manage the intake process, ensuring all required documentation is collected and organized.
Conduct client consultations to understand their specific immigration needs and provide preliminary eligibility of immigration benefits.
Prepare and file various immigration applications and petitions, including but not limited to I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, and others.
Maintain accurate and detailed client records and case files.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any questions or concerns.
Collaborate with attorneys and other staff members to ensure the timely and accurate submission of applications.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal.
Experience conducting client consultations and closing clients.
Strong knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely, with reliable internet access.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) required due to majority of clients being Spanish speaking only.
Schedule:
Part-time position with flexible hours.
One day a week is required in the office in Miami Lakes, FL - (specifically when filings are due)
