Our sign shop is a growing company and is looking for the right candidate. Our Sign Production employees are assigned to the production department and report to the Production Manager. This position will be asked to work in the shop to meet deadlines and needs.
Responsibilities
Operate vinyl cutting equipment, weed and apply vinyl.
Removal of graphics from vehicles
Cutting, Weeding, mounting, laminating, loading and finishing all types of sign.
Assist in producing signs and/or assist with in-house installations.
You must be able to use an X-Acto knife and ruler efficiently.
Basic woodworking skills required.
Operate powered shop and hand tools.
Attention to detail and quality control is critical.
Positive attitude. Team player. Multi-task. Great work ethic.
Sign building, painting, installing, etc.
Maintain an organized, clean and professional working area always.
Requirements
Strong sense of time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.
Detail Oriented. Must be able to catch errors during quality control.
Meet physical demands of typical activities such as standing, walking, sit and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in fast paced environment.
Knowledge of Illustrator and other signage programs a plus.
Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation a must.
Experience in the sign industry a plus
