We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter with a passion for woodworking and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting, installing, and finishing wood structures and fixtures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, cut, and shape wood materials according to specifications.
Install cabinets, countertops, trim, doors, and windows.
Apply finishes, stains, and sealants to enhance and protect wood surfaces.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.
Collaborate with designers and other trades to achieve project goals.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the finishing process.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or similar role.
Proficiency in woodworking tools and equipment.
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Physical stamina and dexterity.
Education and Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in carpentry or related fields is a plus.
Relevant certifications or apprenticeships preferred.
