We are looking for a skilled and experienced Silkscreen Machine Operator to join our production team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in silkscreen printing and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining silkscreen printing equipment to produce high-quality printed products.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in printing technology preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a silkscreen machine operator.
Proficient in the operation and maintenance of silkscreen printing equipment.
Strong understanding of color matching, ink mixing, and print quality control.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Bilingue o spanish.
Printing color experienced.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operation:
Set up and operate silkscreen printing machines for various printing projects.
Adjust machine settings to achieve desired print quality and consistency.
2. Production Quality:
Monitor the printing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Conduct regular checks on printed materials to identify and rectify defects.
3. Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on silkscreen printing machines.
Keep equipment clean and in good working condition to minimize downtime.
4. Collaboration:
Work closely with the design and production teams to understand project specifications.
Provide input on production schedules and material requirements.
5. Documentation:
Maintain accurate production records, including material usage and print run details.
Report any production issues or equipment malfunctions to management.
6. Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Participate in safety training and maintain awareness of workplace hazards.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry materials up to 25-30 pounds.
Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
