New Florida Majority is launching a campaign to build our membership base, building our power to raise the voices of everyday people in Florida in the fight for social, economic, and racial justice. Team members in Campaign jobs are on the front lines of this work, recruiting new members to make Florida a better state for everyone who lives here.
Primary Responsibilities Campaign Job:
-Learn issues based talking point and convey them effectively
-Supervise and coordinate member-led field teams.
-Competent with tablets
-Ability to problem solve with regional organizers to ensure effective organizing teams
-Record accurate data from daily field work
-Fundraising
Required Skills Campaign Job:
-Motivated by office goals, willingness to work hard and make things happen
-Committed to leading by example
-Strong oral and written communication skills, especially around facilitation, planning and reporting
-Team members must be able to work in a team, receive feedback, and adapt to rapidly changing political and programmatic landscapes
-Newly hired canvassers will work closely with the Team Leaders and Canvass Director to learn how to canvass and fine tune skills
-Previous Canvass, campaign, or non profit experience a plus
Pay & Benefits:
-Base Pay of $15 dollars an hour
