Position is based in Alaska and Texas with travel requirements to other states as needed, summers will always be in Alaska. Room/board provided. Must have good admin skills as well as great computer abilities and be presentable for meetings with contract officers and clients; at home we do not care what you look like. Must also be willing to work hard outside and at home helping with chores as well as learn a lot of varied aspects of our companies. Possible limited partnership associate after one year. We are looking for a very special person who is completely honest and one that we can trust; it will be a mutually beneficial relationship for a minimum of 2-3 years. We plan to sell the company and retire in three years. We will either turn over our businesses to this person or completely sell out. Our various businesses are in construction, water/air cargo transportation, air passenger transportation, marina, salmon processing and leasing. No drugs or heavy drinking allowed as we prefer a low stress and drama-free environment. All our children are grown and are successful on their own therefore none of them have any interest in taking over any of the businesses we took over 25-years to build. We prefer someone who has no ties or at the very most, one child as we travel quite extensively. If you are a younger person, please have the mental maturity to manage a business and/or supervise employees. Also, it would be great if this person were extremely motivated to succeed, not only for themselves, but for all of us. We are currently on business traveling between California, Texas, Florida, Virginia and Seattle then we will head back to Alaska in time to begin the salmon season. The owner is of Ukrainian/Russian descent. He speaks Russian on a limited basis but would like to learn more. We also plan to bid on reconstruction projects in Ukraine when the war is over.
