Michael B. Schorah and Associates, Inc., a West Palm Beach, Florida based engineering, surveying, and land development consulting firm is seeking applicants for the position of a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support our team.
Qualifications and responsibilities include the following but are not limited to:
Qualifications
Good communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills.
Clerical duties with strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. (Data entry/typing, filing, answering phones, etc.)
Knowledge of basic office equipment. (Computers, printers/copiers, phones, etc.)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe. (Intermediate to proficient knowledge preferred)
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handling multiple tasks.
Experience using QuickBooks. (preferred but not required)
A/P and A/R experience. (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and supporting our consulting team.
Manage and coordinate administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.
Assist with project documentation, including organizing and maintaining files and records
Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Assist with office management tasks, such as ordering supplies and maintaining office equipment.
Support various projects and tasks as needed, with the potential for increased responsibilities over time.
