For over 30 years, National Marine Suppliers has been a trusted source for premium products serving the yachting industry, private islands, estates, and more. We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented person to join our team.
Summary:
This role spends most of the day out in the field visiting local stores, distributors, and will-call counters to shop for and purchase goods that meet client specs. You'll place/collect orders, compare pricing, verify part numbers, and bring items back on tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Shop and buy products in person at local retailers/wholesalers to fulfill client orders (same-day/next-day deadlines).
Verify specs (SKU's model/part numbers, quantities, substitutes) before purchase; send photos for quick approvals as needed.
Compare prices/availability across vendors; use company tax-exempt forms and accounts where applicable.
Place, pick up, and return orders; handle will-call, curbside pickup, and special orders.
Track purchases in our app: receipts, order notes, mileage, and ETA updates.
Coordinate constantly with sales and vendors on status, substitutions, and delivery windows.
Maintain inventory accuracy on what you procure and drop off; label and stage items on return.
Operate and care for the company vehicle safely; keep it clean and stocked (totes, straps, PPE).
Support logistics between runs (light packing/staging/check-in).
What We're Looking For:
Strong, fit, and able to manage an active workload.
Positive attitude and dependable work ethic.
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Previous experience in retail, procurement, or logistics is a plus.
