Job Title: Part-Time Florist Assistant
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a permanent part-time florist assistant. This role will involve supporting various aspects of the florist industry through customer assistance, phone sales, and preparing vases and containers for flower arrangements. The ideal candidate will possess a pleasant speaking voice, exhibit kindness in all interactions, Reliable transportation and have the ability to type at a minimum speed of 25-30 words per minute.
Job Responsibilities:
Assisting customers with their floral needs and providing exceptional service
Conducting phone sales and taking orders from customers
Prepping vases and containers for floral arrangements
Handling and cutting shipments of flowers with care and precision
Providing support across all facets of the florist industry as needed
Requirements:
Pleasant speaking voice with a kind demeanor
Ability to type at least 25-30 words per minute
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with work hours
Availability to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and one weekday, with the potential for increased hours during the holiday season
Experience in flower recognition, flower care, and handling
Proficiency in using Windows-based computers
Willingness to learn and be trained for the position
Min 1-2 Years Retail floral experience
