Edda’s Cake Company is looking for a reliable Warehouse Assistant for its production and distribution center. This role reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Warehouse Assistant responsibilities include receiving, storing, organizing, lifting materials, and processing orders for delivery.
Responsibilities
Ensure proper storage and rotation of products
Assist in selecting and preparing orders for deliveries for all accounts
Maintain neat and accurate records of inventory
Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
Report any discrepancies
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
Follow quality service and health standards
Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
Ability to assist with small deliveries when necessary
Skills
Warehouse Experience
Experience with perishable food
Good organizational and time management skills
Ability to lift heavy objects
Forklift driving experience is a plus
Clean driving record
