JOB DESCRIPTION IS FOR A LONG-TERM POSITION OF A LICENSED UNARMED SCHOOL SECURITY OFFICER
We are looking for a licensed security officers to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff. As a licensed security officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment, monitoring activity, and responding to any incidents that may occur during the day.
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday / 7AM TO 3PM
Starting Salary: $14 per hour
REQUIREMENTS:
⦁ VALID STATE OF FLORIDA D LICENSE
⦁ VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
⦁ MUST PASS A CLEAN CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK
⦁ RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
Responsibilities:
⦁ Perform access control duties, including verifying credentials and screening for prohibited items.
⦁ Always maintain a neat and professional appearance.
⦁ Always maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality
⦁ Self-Motivated/work independently
⦁ Monitor student and staff areas and report any suspicious or unauthorized activity.
⦁ Respond to and resolve any security incidents or emergencies that may arise.
⦁ Maintain communication with staff and law enforcement as necessary.
⦁ Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and be physically able to perform the duties of the job.
⦁ Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
⦁ Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
⦁ Must protect personnel and property in a professional manner.
⦁ Identify, report, delay or detain persons who violate rules and regulations.
⦁ Detect and respond to alarms and emergencies.
⦁ Secure entrances and exits during emergencies.
⦁ Communicate and remain accessible via two-way radio.
⦁ Observe and report all offenses/incidents.
⦁ Complete all reports and paperwork as required.
⦁ Assist during emergencies as necessary. Protecting students and staff from any unacceptable or inappropriate behavior. Some of these behaviors include but are not limited to harassment, physical attack, vandalism, and other forms of abusive or unauthorized treatment

August 6th 7am-3pm
