Sales Outdoor Patio with Experience

As a Furniture Salesperson specialising in Beach & Patio – Outdoor Living, you will be at the forefront of creating exceptional

outdoor living experiences for our customers. Your role involves guiding clients through their outdoor furniture choices, ensuring they

find pieces that complement their lifestyle and space. With your expertise, you’ll foster strong customer relationships, drive sales,

and contribute to the showroom’s success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Service:

o Greet and assist customers with a warm and professional demeanour.

o Assess customer needs to offer tailored recommendations for outdoor furniture that meets their preferences

and requirements.

o Provide accurate information on product features, pricing, availability, and delivery options.

2. Sales and Product Knowledge:

o Develop a thorough understanding of Beach & Patio – Outdoor Living’s product lines, including materials,

styles, and current trends.

o Demonstrate outdoor furniture pieces, highlighting their benefits and features to customers.

o Employ up selling and cross-selling techniques to enhance sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.

3. Sales Process:

o Manage the sales process from initial consultation through to final purchase.

o Prepare and present quotes, process transactions, and facilitate financing options as needed.

o Follow up with customers after purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.

4. Showroom Maintenance:

o Maintain the showroom’s appearance by ensuring it is clean, organised, and visually appealing.

o Verify that all products are properly labelled and priced.

5. Team Collaboration:

o Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and enhance the overall customer experience.

o Engage in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products and effective sales

techniques.

6. Administrative Duties:

o Complete sales documentation and manage customer accounts accurately.

o Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims in alignment with store policies.

o Keep detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

 Experience: Prior experience in retail sales or customer service is advantageous.

 Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.

 Knowledge: Familiarity with outdoor furniture styles, materials, and trends is a plus.

 Technical Abilities: Some Quickbooks and Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel) systems and basic computer

software. and Microsoft Suite, Word and Excel will be a plus.

 Flexibility: Willingness to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
