Job Summary:
We seek to contract a highly motivated salesperson responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients in the janitorial and commercial cleaning space. This role involves understanding client needs, presenting appropriate cleaning solutions, and closing deals to grow the company's revenue. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, have strong communication skills, and possess a deep understanding of janitorial and cleaning services.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and Generate Leads: Proactively seek out new clients and business opportunities within assigned territory or sectors, including commercial offices, schools, hospitals, restaurants, and other facilities that require cleaning services.
Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop strong, ongoing relationships with potential and existing clients by understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and offering tailored janitorial solutions.
Gain Product and Service Knowledge: Stay informed about the company’s cleaning products, services, and technologies. Provide proposals, and detailed information to clients.
Negotiate Contracts and Close Sales: Prepare and present contracts, negotiate pricing and terms, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with operations, customer service, and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery of post-sales.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and new cleaning technologies to provide the best solutions to clients.
Sales Reporting: Track and report sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to management regularly.
Qualifications:
Experience in sales, preferably in janitorial services, restaurant cleaning, facility management, or related industries.
Strong understanding of janitorial products, cleaning methods, and service solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in commercial cleaning or facility management industries.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Compensation:
High Commission Rates (discussed during the interview)
Work Environment:
The role is primarily cold calls and field-based, with travel to client sites for meetings.
