We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused salesperson to join our team at Tinez Farms, a thriving farm market and nursery. If you have a passion for plants, fresh farm produce, and enjoy helping people make informed buying decisions, this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in selecting plants, fresh produce, and other farm products.
Provide knowledgeable advice on plant care, growing techniques, and our farm’s offerings.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
Assist with daily sales transactions using our POS system.
Promote seasonal specials, farm events, and promotions to customers.
Answer questions about our products, including organic and pesticide-free practices.
Help with maintaining plants and nursery items (watering, pruning, restocking).
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Passionate about plants, gardening, and sustainable agriculture.
Previous experience in retail or sales is a plus.
Basic knowledge of plant care and farm products (training will be provided).
Ability to work weekends and some holidays.
