Job Opportunity: Front Desk Assistant at a High-End Beauty Salon in West Delray Beach
We are a fast-paced, professional beauty salon located in West Delray Beach, and we are seeking a Front Desk Assistant with a background in social media. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, capable of managing client interactions gracefully, and skilled in creating engaging content across various platforms, including email, Facebook, Google, Instagram, Yelp, and TikTok.
Responsibilities:
Greeting Clients: Welcoming clients as they arrive and creating a positive first impression.
Appointment Scheduling: Managing the salon's appointment calendar, scheduling services, and confirming appointments with
clients.
Client Communication: Answering phone calls, responding to emails or messages, and addressing inquiries about services.
Check-In and Check-Out: Assisting clients during check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all transactions are processed
accurately.
Processing Payments: Handling payments through cash, credit cards, or other methods, and managing receipts.
Maintaining Records: Keeping track of client files, including service history, preferences, and contact information.
Product Sales: Promoting and selling salon products, providing clients with information on products that complement their
services.
Managing Salon Environment: Ensuring the reception area is tidy and that all materials (like brochures and product displays) are
well-stocked.
Supporting Staff: Assisting stylists and therapists with various tasks, as needed, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Handling Customer Complaints: Addressing client concerns and resolving issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
Social Media: Assist with taking pictures of before and after.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills.
Previous experience working in a hair salon environment.
Some social media knowledge
Working Hours:
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 9 am to 6 pm
- Thursday: 9 am to 7 pm
- Saturday: 9 am to 5 pm
