We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage the turnover of apartment units across our portfolio of 40 buildings in Miami. In this role, you will be responsible for supervising and instructing a team of individuals handling the reconstruction and renovation of vacant units. You will closely monitor project details and ensure timely, quality completion of work while adhering to local regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing the timely turnover of vacant apartment units.
Ensuring all projects comply with local regulations.
Hiring and managing internal employees and subcontractors to complete renovation work.
Conducting regular meetings with team members for coaching, performance reviews, and progress updates.
Resolving any building-related issues, including HVAC and other maintenance concerns.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in construction management, specifically with apartment renovations.
Strong computer skills and software proficiency.
Exceptional organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
Experience soliciting quotes from subcontractors.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
