Residential Development and Construction firm looking for a Construction Project Manager. Focused mostly on pre-construction and keeping the job moving while it’s active.
This role is best suited for someone who thrives in an organized, fast-paced environment and understands how to bring structure to complex custom projects. Responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating pre-construction planning, permitting, and subcontractor buy-outs
- Managing daily project progress, schedules, and logistics to keep work flowing without delay
- Serving as the primary office-based manager, keeping documents, schedules, and approvals organized while maintaining clear communication with supers, foreman, and subcontractors in the field
- Maintaining accountability for cost, schedule, and quality
- Preparing and updating project documentation, RFIs, and change orders
- Anticipating challenges in sequencing, deliveries, inspections, and trades, and resolving them before they become delays
We specialize in structural shells, custom pools, masonry, roofing, and full-site coordination across South Florida. The Project Manager will be expected to work closely with our superintendents, PMs, and labor force to make sure projects move seamlessly from excavation through turnover.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of construction management experience, preferably in concrete, structural shells, or residential development
- Strong working knowledge of permitting, inspections, and Florida Building Code
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, and pool plans
- Excellent communication and leadership skills—comfortable directing subcontractors and supporting field crews while staying primarily office-based
- Proficiency with Buildertrend or similar construction management platforms
This is a hands-on management role—not just paperwork. We’re looking for someone who wants to take ownership of projects, solve problems in real time, and keep momentum from start to finish.
