Experienced Auto Technician
Come join a successful, independent, repair shop in Delray Beach. You’ll work directly with the owner to diagnose and execute repairs and maintenance on a range of vehicles.
Autoworks has just completed its 10th year of operation and has become one of the most trusted repair shops in the area. We service Fleet accounts including an international delivery service; air-conditioning companies; a commercial coffee service as well as a large roster of retail customers. Dozens of 5-Star Google reviews are a testament to the quality of our work and loyalty of our customers. We service 2,000 cars a year, including US, Japanese, and Korean cars, trucks, and vans and an occasional high-end European car.
This could be an excellent opportunity for you, especially if you don't like the rigid rules of larger, corporate shops.
We need an experienced auto technician with a minimum of 4 year’s experience and with the ability to diagnose basic issues such as brakes, suspension, A/C, cooling systems, and similar. Having your ASE certificates is a plus, but not required.
Here are benefits we can offer you:
· Receive a $500 signing bonus after two months.
· The salary range is $50,000 - $70,000, based on your experience.
· You’ll be paid an hourly salary for a 40-hour week. This is NOT flat rate.
· The M-F hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Saturday hours 9:00 to 1:00 p.m.
· Work in a large, 4,300 square foot, free-standing building with 3 open sides for excellent ventilation.
· Well-equipped shop with 7 bays, 5 lifts and an alignment system.
· 2-weeks paid vacation earned after 6 months employment.
· Payday every other Friday by direct deposit.
· Work uniforms provided after one month.
Your work will include diagnosis and evaluation of problems, recommendations to correct, parts to order and executing repairs.
You will need to have at least 4 years experience and your own set of tools; have a valid driver's license; and be ready to start within 2 weeks.
You should live within a comfortable commute to and from Delray Beach, FL.
