Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency in various landscaping projects.
Duties
Install and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial landscapes.
Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
Perform repairs and adjustments on existing irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality.
Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to dig trenches, build components, and irrigate landscapes.
Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation solutions into overall garden care.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including repairs and installations.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding irrigation systems.
Qualifications
Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or related fields is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation equipment.
Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools for installation and maintenance tasks.
Ability to dig trenches and perform physical labor as required by the job.
Knowledge of various irrigation methods and best practices for efficient water usage.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
A strong work ethic with attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
