Responsibilities:
- perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on marine diesel engines, generators and other vessel systems
- troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical problems across various components of the vessel
- maintain accurate service records and communicate findings and recommendations
- ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Requirements:
- proven experience as a marine diesel mechanic
- strong understanding of vessel electrical and mechanical systems
- ability to diagnose and repair complex engine and other vessel system issues
- reliability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic are essential
- must be able to lift 100 lbs
- must have own tools and driver's license
- background check required
