Job Title: Marine Mechanic (Part-Time to Full-Time, 20–40 hrs/week)

As we continue to grow, we’re looking to add a skilled Marine Mechanic to our team.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Marine Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain various types of marine engines and systems. You’ll be working on both inboard and outboard motors, electrical systems, steering systems, and other mechanical components. The role offers flexibility with hours ranging from 20 to 40 per week based on your availability and workload.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on boats
Perform regular maintenance, including oil changes, impeller replacements, and tune-ups
Troubleshoot and service outboard and inboard engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke)
Inspect and repair fuel systems, steering systems, and plumbing systems
Maintain service records and communicate clearly with clients and team members
Requirements:
2+ years of marine mechanic experience preferred
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with brands like Yamaha, Mercury, Cat, MAN, Honda, Volvo Penta, etc.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Certifications are a plus (but not required)
Tools required for performing engine repairs
