Marine Technician / Marine Electrician – South Florida (Miami to the Lower Keys)
Last Minute Marine, a fast-growing marine electrical service company, is seeking a skilled and reliable Marine Technician to join our team. We service a wide range of vessels—from center consoles to luxury yachts—and work with top brands including Garmin, Yamaha, Fusion, Seastar, Maretron, Power-Pole, Regal, Sportsman, Twin Vee, Everglades, Sunseeker, Ferretti, and more.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair marine electrical systems
Install and service electronics (MFDs, NMEA 2000 networks, sonar, radar, audio systems)
Perform battery, inverter, charger, and generator installations
Diagnose and repair pumps, lighting, switches, bilge systems, and wiring issues
Document all work performed and maintain a clean, professional workspace
Communicate clearly with customers and follow ABYC-aligned standards
Requirements:
Experience in marine electrical or mechanical systems (preferred but not required if motivated and teachable)
Ability to work independently and travel to marinas and private docks
Must have basic tools and reliable transportation
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
ABYC knowledge or certifications are a plus
