About the role: Growing and professionally managed repair shop is seeking a seasoned upbeat, motivated, and professional Service Advisor / Manager to lead our growing operation. Our shop is a trusted name in commercial fleet maintenance, service and repair (light, medium, and heavy duty diesel trucks, trailers, and RVs), with expert diagnostics, exceptional customer service, and fast turnaround times. To be successful in this role, you are expected to have a strong affinity for sales, exceptional communication and leadership skills, to coordinate technicians and logistics to exceed customer expectations.
What You’ll Do:
Greet customers and listen attentively to their repair needs to capture work
Prepare accurate repair orders, detailing problems and repairs, bridging communication between techs and customers
Keep customers appraised of updates and recommend services to customers in a way that’s honest, helpful, and effective
Help ensure parts, labor, and communication are running smoothly
Support techs and admin staff to maintain a high-efficiency, high-quality shop
Leverage systems, and data to track performance metrics (efficiency, average repair orders, profitability)
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in sales, diesel repair or service management
Can handle a high-paced environment, and able to multitask
A leader who takes pride in being service-oriented, proactive, and get-things-done attitude
Computer literate and comfortable with shop software (we use FullBay)
(English/Spanish) a plus
Prior experience in fleet, dealership, or truck repair preferred (but not required)
