Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician with experience in electrical, hydraulic, or welding work to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty mechanical systems.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Technician located in Pompano Beach, FL. The Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems. They will conduct regular inspections and tests, troubleshoot issues, and make recommendations for improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on compactors, balers, dock levelers, and related equipment

Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections

Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs

Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic flow charts

Work independently or as part of a team to complete service calls efficiently

Provide excellent customer service and maintain detailed service records

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in electrical, hydraulic, welding, or mechanical repair (experience with industrial equipment strongly preferred)

Ability to read technical manuals and schematics

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Comfortable working in commercial and industrial environments

Basic tools required (specialty tools provided by company)

Preferred but not required:

Experience with commercial trash compactors, balers, or dock equipment

OSHA or safety certifications
