$20–$28 per hour (based on experience) + PTO + 401K + 401K Matching

Position Overview
We are seeking an Upholsterer / Furniture Delivery & Installation Technician who brings both hands-on upholstery experience and the physical ability to safely maneuver and install high-end custom furniture. This is not an entry-level role—you must already understand upholstery construction and be ready to contribute on day one.
Responsibilities
You must be able to confidently perform:
Upholstery Skills
Fitting and stapling fabric onto wood frames with precision
Cutting and shaping foam, Dacron, and other fill materials
Installing webbing, springs, and support systems
Using hand tools and power tools confidently and safely
Understanding upholstery order of operations and best practices
(Bonus) Ability to cut and sew for cushions, marine applications, hospitality projects, etc.
Delivery & Installation
Delivering custom furniture to high-end residential homes
Maneuvering and wrapping large, heavy, or delicate pieces safely and professionally, while maintaining high level of quality control
Installing furniture components on-site with accuracy, while keeping job sites tidy.
Confident problem-solving when needed
Maintaining a clean, polished, and respectful presence—representing Blind Stitch with professionalism at all times
Requirements
Must be able-bodied and physically capable of lifting/moving heavy furniture daily
Must speak English; Spanish a plus
Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
Solid experience in the upholstery field—NOT entry level
Strong tool skills (power tools, staple guns, drills, saws, etc.)
High attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
Reliable, punctual, and able to work well independently and in a team
Comfortable working in high-end homes with a professional demeanor
Schedule & Compensation
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Overtime/Saturdays as needed

Descripción del Puesto
Estamos buscando un Técnico en Tapicería / Entrega e Instalación de Muebles que cuente con experiencia práctica en tapicería y la capacidad física para manipular e instalar muebles personalizados de alta gama de manera segura. Este no es un puesto de nivel inicial: debe comprender la construcción de tapicería y estar listo para aportar desde el primer día.
Responsabilidades
Debe ser capaz de desempeñar con confianza:
Habilidades de Tapicería
Ajustar y engrapar telas en armazones de madera con precisión
Cortar y moldear espuma, Dacron y otros materiales de relleno
Instalar cinchos, resortes y sistemas de soporte
Usar herramientas manuales y eléctricas con seguridad y destreza
Entender el orden de operaciones y mejores prácticas de tapicería
(Deseable) Capacidad para cortar y coser cojines, aplicaciones marinas, proyectos de hospitalidad, etc.
Entrega e Instalación
Entregar muebles personalizados a residencias de alto nivel
Manipular y envolver piezas grandes, pesadas o delicadas de forma segura y profesional, manteniendo un alto nivel de control de calidad
Instalar componentes de muebles
