Job Summary:
As a Research Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our portfolio management team by conducting in-depth stock research, analyzing market trends, and providing actionable insights on investment opportunities, including options strategies. This position
requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in financial modeling, and a passion for the stock market.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough research on individual stocks, sectors, and market trends to identify investment opportunities and risks.
Analyze financial statements, earnings reports, and economic data to evaluate company performance and valuation.
Utilize charting tools and technical analysis to interpret price patterns, volume trends, and indicators for informed decision-making.
Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses using mathematical and statistical methods.
Monitor and assess options strategies, including pricing, volatility, and hedging techniques, to support portfolio optimization.
Prepare detailed research reports, presentations, and recommendations for the portfolio management team.
Stay updated on global economic events, regulatory changes, and industry developments impacting the stock market.
Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to refine investment strategies and contribute to team discussions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong mathematical aptitude, with experience in quantitative analysis, statistics, and financial modeling.
Solid understanding of the stock market, including fundamental and technical analysis.
Knowledge of options trading, including strategies, pricing models (e.g., Black-Scholes), and risk management.
Proficiency in charting software and tools (e.g., TradingView, Bloomberg, or similar platforms).
Excellent research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
1-3 years of experience in equity research, investment analysis, or a similar role (entry-level candidates with relevant internships considered).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.
Familiarity with financial databases and tools like FactSet, Capital IQ, or Excel advanced functions.
CFA candidacy or certification is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting findings to stakeholders.
