We are in the early stages of building our Marketing Strategy and Sales and Operations teams for our innovative Platform as a Service “PaaS”. This means you will be in a critical position, collaborating and partnering with key stakeholders to craft and roll out priority programs and initiatives. If you love working with hardworking marketers, driving revenue streams, making data-informed decisions, tenaciously prioritizing, driving technology alignment that focuses on making the sum greater than the parts, and dreaming up ways to work smarter instead of harder, this role is for you! This role is key to aligning and driving the eDist PaaS business forward, reporting on how marketing efforts are working, and aligning with the goals and initiatives of the broader eDist organization. We are looking for a strategic problem-solver, a planner, someone who gathers feedback and drives consensus. This role will report to the CEO and partner with leaders across Marketing, Finance, Sales, IT, Recruitment, Employee Success (HR), and more to drive critical initiatives that shape the growth trajectory of eDist’s Business. Our ideal candidate will be an expert at leading the following activities: Operational excellence: lead strategic planning & prioritization via the V2MOM annual planning structure Budget management: oversight, prioritization, and guidance around the allocation of the program's budget for all teams within the marketing organization Leadership alignment: facilitating the conversations required to gain agreement among leaders within marketing and with leaders outside marketing Ensure operational processes are within prescribed budget and timeline Organizational networking: building a network and establishing an alignment process among the teams within eDist Sales reporting, forecasting, and Management Workforce management: planning programs to shift processes and behavior, rallying other leaders on this team to support and inspire innovative ways to work Operational education: orienting leaders and employees to working models, operational considerations, and the day-to-day running of peer teams Organizational structure: streamlining and reshaping to respond to changes in business priorities Quarterly and annual planning: guiding the prioritization, budget, and staffing Agency and vendor management: ensuring the supplier strategy is optimized and structured to fit the needs of the team Process design: optimizing and shaping any and all processes related to day-to-day performance and delivery People programs: lead the specialist responsible for people initiatives including talent development and employee engagement Organizational innovation: examining and rethinking the department, bringing in new skills Holistic leadership: taking a big picture view of the needs, goals, and moving pieces of this department Requirements 10+ years marketing operations experience Strong Experience in Digital Customer Experience with Composable UX Experience in driving a high growth company Solid project management skills Excellent time and change management skills Proven track record to build, lead, and implement strategy & planning Demonstrable analytical skills Demonstrable critical thinking and problem-solving ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills in multiple channels: Slack, email, 1:1, large group settings, and others. Proven analytical, organizational, and program management skills, using relevant information to make timely and critical decisions that affect global, cross-functional teams and have a meaningful impact on investments and program efficiency. Strong tolerance for ambiguity; able to focus and execute in a changing environment; ability to make things happen. Experience building a strong team. A leader passionate about crafting a phenomenal employee experience for each team member, driving their development, and setting them up for success.
