Temple Judea of Fort Myers, Florida is looking to hire teachers for our Religious School program for the 2025 – 2026 school year. We meet on Sunday mornings and Tuesday afternoons.
We are looking for candidates who are creative, curious, flexible, responsive, organized, and enthusiastic about Judaism.
Job Details:
Be on site as a teacher for three hours on Sunday mornings and for two hours on Tuesdays afternoon when school is in session. We take off for school breaks and holidays.
Be able to teach Hebrew and Jewish studies (such as ethics, holidays, Torah, and Israel)
Prepare weekly lesson plans based on a curricular outline provided
Compose brief monthly emails to class parents
Attend monthly staff meetings/professional development sessions
Prepare progress reports to parents twice per year (December & May)
