Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate caregiver to provide nightly monitoring for an individual who requires around-the-clock care. This position is essential in ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of the individual during nighttime hours.
As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Document client care activities and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
- Provide direct support and care in accordance with individualized care plans
- Lift and transfer clients using proper body mechanics and assistive devices, as needed
- Monitor vital signs and report any abnormalities or concerns
