Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable caregiver to assist a male individual with disabilities who requires help with daily tasks. The individual follows a structured daily schedule, and it is essential that the caregiver ensures the routine is adhered to in order to avoid any disruptions. This role involves providing support with activities of daily living and maintaining the individual’s comfort and well-being.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 5PM - 8PM
Saturday 4PM - 9PM
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, bathing, and meal preparation.
Ensure the individual’s daily schedule is followed accurately to maintain consistency and avoid disruption.
Assist with reminders as per the care plan.
Provide companionship, ensuring the individual feels supported and comfortable.
Maintain a safe and clean living environment.
Monitor the individual’s health and report any changes or concerns.
Requirements:
Experience in caregiving, particularly with individuals who have disabilities.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow a structured daily schedule without deviation.
Patience, compassion, and a calm demeanor to provide emotional and physical support.
Ability to assist with mobility and perform light lifting when necessary.
Reliable and dependable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with the individual and family members.
CPR and First Aid certification
