The Naples Daily News is seeking an Assistant District Manager to assist within our Distribution Department.
An Assistant District Manager is an entry level position that:
-Generally works 5 days a week, around 30 hours a week
-This position works overnight hours and weekends 8:00 pm until 2:00 am
-$17 a hour plus .65 for any mileage you use when delivering newspapers.
-We provide on the job training so you can be successful with your new career at the Daily News
-Part of your training will also include learning how to process the nightly paperwork and set up the Distribution Center
Again, this is an entry level opportunity that will learn how to set up and run the distribution center, load and unload trailers, stack out carrier product for delivery and assist in all other areas as needed. Assistant District Managers will be teamed with a District Manager to learn the beginning steps of how to become a District Manager. This training will include becoming familiar with the warehouse operation, email, paperwork, site specific applications and software when the other tasks have been mastered.
Qualified candidates will be able to work 3rd shift hours with weekends required and Holidays as needed. Assistant District Manages are Part-Time 30+ hours a week employees.
This is a Part Time role that starts at $17 an hour, compensation is direct deposited every two weeks so a bank account is mandatory
