2-5 years experience as a Spray Technician, Supervisor, or Assistant Golf Course Superintendent. I will hire an experienced Assistant Superintendent/Supervisor, but need irrigation experience, and able to get Fl spray applicator's license, within 90 days. Mechanical experience helpful.
Advanced computer skills required for financial reporting and control of operations, including use of Microsoft Office. Must adhere to the approved Budget
Valid Driver's License.
Must possess or be able to obtain FL Pesticide Applicator's License within 60 days
Prefer Certification by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, but not required.
Responsible for operation of the golf course operation and maintenance. The responsibilities include: turf grass/plant material maintenance programs, budget/forecasting, financial management, member relations, scheduling/maintenance of irrigation systems, repair, knowledge of Toro 850 heads, complete understanding of pesticide, fungicide, herbicide, applications, knowledge in grinding reels, bedknives is a major plus, and compliance of regulatory issues. Equipment repair would be helpful, we have Toro mowers, and John Deere Spray Rig.
