Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Shop Worker to join our team. As a Cabinet Shop Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction and assembly of cabinets and other woodworking projects. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and materials. Preferred to have experience in cutting, assembly, laminating, delivery, etc Most be able to pass a back ground check.
Work hours:
Tur 6:30 till 4:30
Wed 6:30 till 4:30
Thur 6:30 till 4:30
Fri 9 AM till 9
Responsibilities:
- Demo of classrooms on Friday nights
- Assist in the construction and assembly of cabinets, including cutting, shaping, and sanding wood materials
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and specifications
- Install hardware, such as hinges, handles, and knobs, onto finished cabinets
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cabinet making or woodworking is preferred
- Proficient in using various tools, such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers
- Knowledge of electrical systems related to cabinet installation is a plus
- Familiarity with metal stud framing techniques is beneficial
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during construction
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials when necessary
Please note that this position requires working on-site at our cabinet shop. We offer competitive pay rates based on experience.
