The Caretaker is a small family-owned business that was established in 1995 and we are looking to grow. We work in wetlands and natural areas and are looking for spray techs. We remove invasive plants and trees through foliar application or cut and spray technique. Become part of a team helping to restore Florida to its natural environment today!
Responsibilities:
- Perform various tasks related to wetland and natural areas restoration.
- Identify nuisance and exotic plant species.
- Foliar application of herbicides using 4-gallon backpack sprayers.
- Operate handheld equipment such as chainsaws, brush cutters, hedge trimmers.
Requirements:
- Commercial Applicator License preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of invasive plant species or willing to learn.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
