Housekeeper
Now hiring two full-time Housekeepers! Our senior living community, The Carlisle Naples located in Naples, FL is a great setting if you enjoy working
with seniors.
Full time positions with daytime hours on a week day schedule!
You will perform day-to-day activities that ensure the cleanliness of the Community. Our residents truly appreciate your hard work; helping our senior residents is a fulfilling and rewarding job!
The Housekeeper Essential Duties:
Perform daily and/or weekly cleaning in resident's apartments as directed by supervisor.
Such cleaning includes but is not limited to dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash and cleaning kitchenettes.
Demonstrate safe and proper technique for chemical/cleaning solution use and stocking of housekeeping carts.
Dusts all tables, chairs, desks, cabinets, lamps/light fixtures, wall vents, handrails, ceiling fans, baseboards, and blinds.
Checks sofas/chairs for debris and vacuums, dusts, and spot cleans sofas/chairs.
Vacuums carpet, sweeps, and mops and polishes floors. Spot cleans carpet.
Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms. Refills paper towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers.
Cleans insides of windows and mirrors.
Empties trash. Takes trash from cart area to Dumpster.
Cleans inside and outside of washers/dryers. Empties the lint traps.
Checks for marks on wall.
Identifies potential maintenance issues and reports them to Supervisor.
Assists in keeping vacant apartments clean and fresh for onsite presentations by Marketing personnel.
Performs cleaning tasks necessary to prepare apartments for move-in. Checks to make certain that all light bulbs are working, all toilets are flushing, all water is running, all heating/air-conditioning units are working, and all appliances are functioning. Reports any problems to Supervisor and/or to maintenance for repairs.
Qualifications:
One (1) year of related housekeeping experience or training required.
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) preferred.
Housekeeping service experience in hospitality, country club, or senior living industry preferred.
Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
