Preventive Maintenance Tech- Full Time- DiamondHead Beach Resort

Position starting pay rate: $18.00/hour
Maintenance Technician-Full Time- DiamondHead Beach Resort
Position is responsible for performing basic/light maintenance in guest rooms and common areas, including: spot paint touch-up, replacing burnt out light bulbs, patching minor wall surface scratches, replacing A/C filters, checking all in-room electronics for working-order, spot cleaning grout where necessary, checking plumbing fixtures for leaks and proper draining, replace broken electric plate covers, clean upholstery, check working order of kitchen appliances, repair/replace caulking where needed, tighten loose screws, lubricate squeaks, verify all door & window locks work, verify balcony furnishings are safe, etc. Ensure broken items are fixed or replaced. Request maintenance work orders for issues requiring advanced maintenance skills.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally; 40 lbs frequently. Must have full range of motion in arms, hands, fingers and legs in order to stoop, crawl, walk, bend, push, pull, reach and lift as required by various job duties. Responsible for safety compliance and maintaining a courteous manner during all guest interaction. Must read, write and speak English. Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include week or weekend days and holidays as needed if required.
