U-Build- It Aluminum is a leading company dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Warehouse Team Member.
Position Summary:
As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for handling, organizing, and processing incoming and outgoing shipments. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.
2. Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse.
3. Prepare orders for shipment by picking, building, packing, and labeling items.
4. Operate warehouse equipment, such as saws, forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
5. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily and weekly targets.
6. Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
7. Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the supervisor.
8. Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
3. Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
4. Able to read a tape measure.
5. Basic computer skills for inventory management.
6. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
7. Strong attention to detail.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
9. Team player with good communication skills.
