We are seeking an experienced CAD Tech with key responsibilities to include:
Prepare submittal drawings as well as fabrication drawings for our products
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments
Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
Provide timely updates on drawing completion and workload
Coordinate with colleagues regarding complex diagrams
Qualifications:
Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing, or related fields
Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
Proficiency in CAD or related software
Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
Experience in field surveys, awnings, storm protection, or metal fabrication is a plus but not required
Organization and time-management are very important in this position, as jobs are scheduled to meet strict deadlines and within budget.
Promptness and consistent attendance are expected.
