An Operator II / Mixer position is a specialty position. This is a full-time, permanent position and O/T is often available. This is a very physically demanding position that requires individuals to lift, move, push and/or pull 50 - 75 lbs. regularly while maintaining quotas and deadlines. There is room for growth for the right individual. This employee will be assigned to work primarily in the mixing/straining operation for a manufacturing facility. Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:Adhere to all current good manufacturing practices (cGMP); Set-up, operate, and clean mixing/strain machine; Move and label barrels to ready for production; Follow production schedule guidelines; Fill barrels with powder based on weight; Wipe barrels off from powder residue; Pull sample retains for testing; Quick calibrate, tare and read output on gram scales; Complete production paperwork. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability needed for this position: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures, and work instructions; Ability to comprehend and present written and verbal communication in English to trainer/supervisor; Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; Ability to use a desktop calculator; Knowledge of basic computer skills; High school diploma or GED; must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; must have a valid US driver's license and your own vehicle to travel to/from either our Ft. Myers facility and/or our Cape Coral facility.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or balance; use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is required to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Work Environment: Regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud; climate temperatures to occasional humid and hot (depending on season), extremely dusty environment which requires the employee to wear Tyvek full length garment, goggles and respirator, dusty to clean environment.
