Our busy firm is seeking a Yard Manager.
Yard Manager Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, a command of basic math skills.
The physical ability to lift 50 pounds and more repetitively.
Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, must have reliable transportation.
The ability to work independently and manage your time.
Good organization, follow-up skills and attention to detail.
Physical stamina to handle long hours on your feet during the day in hot weather.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A passion for treating the customer right.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Manufacturing or Construction experience & Forklift certified, a plus.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining cleanliness of the yard to ensure smooth operations.
Load up and tie down trucks for delivery and pick up.
Drive company truck for deliveries and pickups.
Use forklift to move finished fabricated items throughout shop.
