No Kill Shelter is seeking a motivated individual to work full time or part time caring for cats and dogs at our Shelter.
Position for staff: 8am-4:30 pm. One WEEKEND day is required.
Must be able to work with other staff, volunteers, and the public in a positive, practical manner and be able to work with minimum supervision. Previous kennel or animal care experience will be considered an asset.
Must have good verbal/written communication skills.
Responsibilities include cleaning cat or dog lodges, feeding, washing dishes, laundry, walking dogs and working with dedicated volunteers. Take potential adopters on tours to view our animals and make recommendations for the animals being placed in adoption. Position includes lifting 40-50 lb. dog/cat food bags, 20-40 lb. cat litter bags which would require an individual with ability to maintain a level of fitness and endurance to fulfill required duties.
Must have valid FL license and transportation. We maintain a smoke free, drug free work place. We do Background checks and Drug tests. Emails only. Phone calls will not be returned. No walk ins please.
