Looking for experienced paralegal who hates paralegal work! (Naples)

Vacancy expired!

Looking for experienced paralegal who hates paralegal work! (Maybe that's a little much maybe just looking for a change!)

I am looking for someone who thinks like I do which means that you would also have a four year degree in law or the equivalent in experience.

Here's the catch though. my business has nothing to do with law.

I am a state certified General Contractor and I remodel homes from Tampa to Naples. I have four crews consisting of twelve employees and the great thing is that I only have one customer! That one customer wants to continue to expand our workload, our geographic foot print and our team. I am all for that but I need to clone myself!

That is where you come in.

If you want to make a change from the legal profession into another field than we should probably have a conversation.

I am looking to offload a lot of the things that I currently do such as:

- Managing my expense sheets for my customer

- Coordinating purchasing and scheduling with our superintendents and vendors

- Checking progress daily with our superintendents

- Building our weekly online progress reports for our client

- Solving complex problems for our team

I know some of that is somewhat vague but so is a lot of what we do which is why I need someone with a strong analytical mind.

I am not looking for you to have any construction background. Strong problem solving mind, good memory, good computer skills and organization are key!

I have an office building behind my house and I am not here much. Once I hire you for this position I will be here even less so you will basically be totally independent.

We are located right at Pine Ridge and Collier Blvd. in Naples.

Work schedule is very flexible, basically whatever you need it to be we just have to get our work done.

We do not keep track of hours.

We pay by the week, every week.

Our work is in no way dependent on the economy. Our customer is the bank so slowdowns in the economy have absolutely no effect on our work.

We don't provide benefits but would love to if you could find an affordable way to do that. (That was a joke, the healthcare system is so broken it's impossible)

Compensation?

I don't know what to put here. I remember interviewing for legal assistant jobs out of collage and being insulted at what I was offered for pay. I look at the paralegal job ads online and some pay well and others not as much as a fast food place so I'm scratching my head as to where to even start because I don't want to run off the right person.

Please tell me where you think a fair place to start the conversation on compensation is and keep in mind that some monthly bonus structure on top of a good base pay is one thing we would like to discuss as well.

Please know in advance that if you respond to this posting I really appreciate it. In a perfect world I would email back everyone who responds to me but in this world there is not enough time for me to do that.

Thank you so much for your consideration.

Brian
