Opening for a Property Manager near downtown Naples, FL on a part time basis (3-4 hours per day, Mon-Fri - max of 20 hours/week). The successful candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience in property management. Ability to manage a 40-unit low-rise development on Gulf Shore Blvd N. Be able to perform minor maintenance work such as plumbing, landscaping, painting, electrical, etc. Be proficient at leading and coordinating bigger landscaping, painting, plumbing and other maintenance projects. Be willing to do some daily minor housekeeping like sweeping the walkways, picking up debris, wiping down tables and chairs by poolside, hosing off pool and balcony areas, handling recycle bins, etc.
Must have friendly customer service, communication and organizational skills. Be willing and helpful to owners who may need coordination with their own projects.
Candidate must live within a 10-mile radius of downtown Naples so that he can get to complex quickly in case of emergency.
This job is not for someone who wants to sit at the desk and call services for help. We want someone with hands-on experience to take care of the smaller issues of a smaller development and to be able to build a long term relationship with the Board and all its owners for the next 3-5 years.
Starting salary is $20 to $23/hour depending on experience. Some paid holidays. No benefits paid. Mon-Fri extra hours are paid at hourly rate. Weekend extra hours are paid at one and one half times rate.
Most desirable candidate is someone who is currently a full-time property manager who wants to reduce their work load to part time
