Energized Systems is on the hunt for a Fire Alarm Installer to undertake the testing, installation, maintenance, and repair of our clients' fire alarm systems. We are looking for someone with a meticulous eye for detail, a firm commitment to safety, and a solid understanding of fire safety regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, program, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems, including cable rough-in, in accordance with industry standards and local codes.
Conduct on-site surveys to assess the specific needs of clients and develop installation plans, including cable routing and rough-in specifications.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
Perform cable rough-in work, including routing and terminating cables, as part of the overall fire alarm system installation.
Test and inspect installed systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulations.
Provide training to clients on the use and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Installer.
Certification from a recognized Fire Alarm System training program.
NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems is highly desirable.
Profound knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
Exceptional problem-solving and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to be on-call and respond to emergencies outside regular working hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
